Job summary

Summit Public Schools seeks a Dean of Operations for Middle and High school sites to lead non-instructional operations and ensure efficient, values-aligned school site operations. You will oversee attendance, nutrition, recruitment and enrollment, facilities, field trips, health and safety, scheduling, records, testing, and transportation, while managing an operations team.

Qualifications

• Commitment to Summit's values and equitable education.
• Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
• Operations and/or school experience preferred.
• Experience with project and people management.
• Data or analytics experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace tools.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Clear health and background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee attendance systems and ensure reports meet goals.
• Manage recruitment, enrollment, and lotteries.
• Ensure health and safety, drills, and incident reporting.
• Oversee technology inventory and facilities maintenance.
• Manage meals program and compliance with the National School Lunch Program.
• Oversee records, testing, and transcripts processing.
• Support master schedule design and student timetables.
• Coordinate transportation and field trips.
• Lead and manage operations team members.
