Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing is seeking a Dean of Nursing to lead the campus nursing program, aligning strategy with the college’s mission and vision. The role collaborates with campus leadership to implement policy, planning, and evaluation across the program.

Responsibilities include managing faculty and clinical coordination, ensuring BON compliance, preparing annual reports, and guiding accreditation self-study efforts while directing budgeting and resource allocation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required; doctorate preferred where applicable.
• Five years of combined teaching experience and curriculum development.
• Current unencumbered nursing license relevant to the teaching location.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing program policy, planning, and evaluation aligned with mission.
• Oversee accreditation activities and preparation of self-studies.
• Manage faculty, clinical coordination, and scheduling to ensure outcomes.
• Prepare budgets and report data to Board and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with State Board of Nursing requirements.
