Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing is seeking a Dean of Nursing to lead our nursing program and collaborate with the Executive Director of Academic Operations on policy, planning, and evaluation. The role focuses on ensuring alignment with the college’s mission, strengthening faculty performance, and maintaining program outcomes.

The Dean will oversee administrative operations, clinical scheduling, curriculum oversight, faculty development, and student success initiatives in a growth-oriented

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required, doctorate preferred in some states.
• Five years’ combined teaching experience and experience in curriculum development and administration.
• Current unencumbered state professional RN license or enhanced compact nursing licensure where teaching location requires it.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with campus leadership on policy making, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Lead nursing faculty, clinical coordinators, and other direct reports with performance management.
• Ensure compliance with State BON requirements and prepare required reports.
• Oversee budget preparation and resource allocation for the nursing program.
• Coordinate faculty onboarding, development, and ATI methodologies for classroom instruction.
• Support student outcomes alignment with program mission and accreditation standards.
