Jerry Seiner Dealerships is seeking a dedicated Automotive Service Advisor to join our service teams in Salt Lake City. You will greet customers, coordinate with technicians, explain repairs, and manage appointments to ensure smooth service flow.

With a customer-focused mindset and strong communication skills, you will contribute to a positive team culture and the ongoing growth of our service department.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor.
• Experience with dealership management systems such as CDK.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them with vehicle service needs in a friendly manner.
• Work with service technicians to diagnose concerns and communicate repairs.
• Explain repair recommendations, maintenance schedules, and service options.
• Schedule service appointments and manage department workflow.
• Provide timely updates on vehicle status and completion timelines.
• Answer questions about services, warranty coverage, and maintenance.
• Document services performed and process customer payments when applicable.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts to ensure efficient timelines.
• Build relationships to encourage repeat business and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them with their vehicle service needs in a professional and friendly manner.
• Work with service technicians to diagnose vehicle concerns and communicate recommended repairs.
• Clearly explain repair recommendations, maintenance schedules, and service options to customers.
• Schedule service appointments and manage workflow within the service department.
• Provide timely updates to customers regarding vehicle status and completion timelines.
• Answer questions related to services performed, warranty coverage, and maintenance recommendations.
• Ensure accurate documentation of services performed and process customer payments when applicable.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts departments to ensure efficient repair timelines.
• Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and long-term loyalty.

What We're Looking For

• 1-2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor (preferred)
• Previous automotive dealership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of automotive technology and service processes
• Experience with dealership management systems such as CDK (preferred)
• 5+ years of customer service experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to customers
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
