Job summary

Redwood Credit Union, a not-for-profit financial institution, seeks a Dealer Relationship Officer to cultivate dealer relations and grow indirect lending. You will work with the Consumer Lending Indirect Manager to organize, develop, and train in indirect lending functions.

You will travel to dealer sites, promote loan products, coordinate auto brokering and dealer services, and support the lending team with effective dealer partnerships.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of consumer loan products and lending principles.
• Experience with auto services programs and dealer networks.
• Ability to communicate policy, product and pricing changes to dealers.
• Capable of educating staff on indirect lending fundamentals.
• Willingness to travel extensively (75%).

Responsibilities

• Arrange weekly dealer visits to discuss and sell RCU loan products.
• Develop plans for dealers to have full relationship with Redwood Credit Union and RCU Auto Services.
• Communicate policy, product, and pricing changes to dealers.
• Educate dealers on lending decisions to ensure policy adherence.
• Organize joint auto sales promotions with dealers.
• Provide updated rate sheets and marketing materials to dealers.
• Arrange dealer recognition events monthly or quarterly.
• Safeguard confidential member information.
• Provide exceptional service to Members, dealers and staff.
