Job summary

Redwood Credit Union seeks a Dealer Relationship Officer to cultivate and maintain dealer relationships within the Consumer Lending indirect program. The role involves market development, training, and collaboration with the Indirect Manager to implement and improve lending functions.

The position focuses on growing the dealer network, educating partners on policy and product changes, and coordinating promotions and support services across RCU Auto Services.

Qualifications

• Experience in dealer sales and relationship management.
• Ability to train staff on indirect lending fundamentals.
• Strong communication with dealers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Arrange weekly dealer visits to discuss and sell loan products, build auto brokering relationships, and add dealers to Dealer Service program.
• Assist in developing plans for dealers to have a full relationship with Redwood Credit Union and RCU Auto Services.
• Communicate policy, product, and pricing changes with dealers to ensure quality Member service.
• Educate dealers regarding lending decisions to ensure dealer network adheres to RCU policy and procedures.
• Organize joint auto sales promotions with dealers to strengthen dealer relations.
• Supply dealers with updated rate sheets and marketing materials as required.
• Assemble and Manage "Preferred Dealer" group to maximize loan growth and dealer relationships.
• Formulate and monitor dealer satisfaction surveys to ensure superior Member service.
• Arrange dealer recognition events for top producing dealers on a monthly or quarterly basis.
• Ensure confidentiality and safeguard sensitive Member financial information.
• Provide exceptional service to all Members, dealers, volunteers, internal team members and service providers.
• Analyze indirect lending program products, processes, and workflows and propose changes to maintain maximum efficiency.
