Job summary

Westlake Financial is seeking a Dealer Account Manager to educate and train dealer partners in the assigned area, helping them grow lending opportunities and fund more customers.

You will manage dealer accounts, identify prospects, and communicate program updates while traveling locally to meet with Independent and Franchise dealers. The role offers a highly incentivized compensation plan and substantial earning potential.

Qualifications

• Automotive, finance and sales experience required.
• 1-2 years' sales experience with a proven track record.
• College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
• Proficient with computers; willing to learn new technology.
• Willingness to travel locally with valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare presentations and proposals for dealer partners to communicate company products and services.
• Identify sales prospects and contact assigned accounts.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity with dealers.
• Develop, maintain and grow dealer partnerships within independent and franchise networks.
• Communicate via phone and in-person visits to train on current programs and funding requirements.
• Provide solutions and restructure vehicle loans for approval in a profitable manner.
• Assist with preparation of sales contracts and verify required documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date sales materials and product knowledge.
• Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows.
