Westlake Financial is seeking a Dealer Account Manager to operate on-the-road, training and growing dealer partnerships while expanding financing opportunities. You will educate dealer partners, manage the dealer base, and drive growth in sales programs and funding requirements.

This full-time role offers a performance-based compensation plan with strong earning potential, including a guaranteed minimum and substantial commissions, plus extensive benefits and travel within local markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in Automotive, Finance and Sales is required.
• 1–2 years in a Sales role with a proven track record.
• College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong presentation skills from creation to delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
• Strong computer skills; comfortable with new technology.
• Goal oriented with desire for growth and advancement.
• Able to work well with diverse teams.
• Experience with DealerTrack, Routeone or CUDL is beneficial.
• Outside sales experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare presentations and proposals to communicate products to management in dealerships.
• Identify and contact sales prospects and assigned accounts.
• Follow up on leads and referrals from field activity with dealers.
• Develop and grow dealer partnerships in the assigned area.
• Communicate via phone and in-person visits to train on programs and funding needs.
• Provide loan solutions and restructure deals for profitability.
• Assist with sales contracts by educating dealers on verification needs.
• Maintain up-to-date sales materials and product knowledge.
• Participate in marketing events for independent and franchise dealers.
