DDA Program Supervisor — In-Person Leadership

Job summary

HAVE Support, Inc. is seeking an experienced DDA Program Supervisor to provide hands-on supervision and operational oversight for our residential and community-based services.

This in-person, hands-on supervisory role requires understanding Maryland DDA services, COMAR regulations, and the ability to supervise staff, review documentation, and address compliance concerns through completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience working for a Maryland DDA provider.
• Working knowledge of Maryland DDA requirements and COMAR regulations.
• Previous supervisory, lead, or program coordination experience.
• Experience supervising Direct Support Professionals.
• Experience with residential and/or community-based DDA services.
• Experience managing staff schedules and resolving staffing shortages.
• Experience reviewing participant and service documentation.
• Knowledge of PCP implementation and person-centered practices.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and follow-through.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and program staff.
• Maintain staffing coverage and required staffing ratios.
• Review staff schedules, call-outs, vacancies, attendance, and coverage needs; ensure staff are properly trained and qualified before working with participants.
• Monitor implementation of PCPs, BSPs, NCPs, and other participant plans.
• Conduct routine visits to residential and community service locations.
• Review progress notes, shift documentation, attendance, incident reports, and other records.
• Identify and correct incomplete, inaccurate, or late documentation.
• Monitor compliance with DDA, COMAR, service authorization, and program requirements.
• Address staff performance, attendance, and conduct concerns; provide coaching and follow-up.
• Plan and lead staff/team meetings; prepare meeting agendas.
• Review PCP/BSP/NCP updates and staff expectations during meetings; document action items and follow-up.
• Support incident reporting and required follow-up.
• Coordinate with HR, Nursing, Behavioral Services, Quality Assurance, and leadership.
• Support preparation for DDA, OHCQ, and internal compliance reviews.
• Ensure participant rights, health, safety, choice, and person-centered practices.
