Goodfit is seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team in a hybrid onsite model in Michigan. The role focuses on testing Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, plus custom implementations, with hands-on automation and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 8-12 years of QA experience, strong SQL skills, and experience in API testing using Postman or SOAP UI.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for Salesforce applications.
• Validate Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom Salesforce implementations.
• Develop and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on business requirements.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Scrum Teams, and Stakeholders to ensure application quality.
• Perform API and backend validation testing using tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Identify, document, track, and manage defects using Jira or similar defect tracking tools.
• Execute data validation and backend testing using SQL queries.
• Support UAT activities and production validation efforts.
• Collaborate with automation teams and contribute to automation framework improvements where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with QA standards, best practices, and release management processes.
