Job summary

Centraprise, Corp. is seeking a Senior Salesforce QA Engineer to lead QA across Salesforce apps. Remote/hybrid work model with strong emphasis on functional testing, API validation, and QA best practices. 7+ years QA, 3–5+ years Salesforce testing, and experience with Jira/Confluence are preferred.

The role involves designing test plans, driving defect resolution, supporting automation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced release environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Software QA experience.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on Salesforce testing.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, security, user roles, data models, and release processes.
• Solid understanding of STLC, functional testing, regression testing, and manual testing methodologies.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira, Confluence, and test management tools such as Zephyr or TestRail.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute end-to-end test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and UAT testing for Salesforce applications.
• Validate Salesforce features including Lightning Experience, custom objects, Apex components, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and validation rules.
• Test integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications using API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using Jira or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers, administrators, and business teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Support and maintain test automation frameworks where applicable.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide testing estimates, and promote QA best practices.
• Assist with release validation and testing across sandbox environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira, Confluence, and test management tools such as Zephyr or TestRail. Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured. Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience building or maintaining UI and API automation frameworks. Knowledge of Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript. Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Copado, or GitHub Actions. Experience testing complex Salesforce integrations and business workflows.
