Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in developmental disabilities.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Excellent decision-making and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individuals served receive quality services and are engaged with the community.
• Coordinate and manage all services and supports for individuals served, including medical appointments, housing, behavior management, finances, and benefits.
• Use behavioral health interventions to improve outcomes for individuals served.
• Assist in developing and implementing behavior support strategies and assess their effectiveness.
• Collaborate with all service team members to ensure great communication and customer service.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and ensure they are thoroughly trained.
• Monitor staffing hours to ensure appropriate services and coverage for all shifts.
• Provide excellent customer service to individuals served, families/guardians, the county board, and all service team members.
