Job summary

PRADCO Outdoor Brands operates a Distribution Center in the Birmingham area, employing 75-120 people and handling thousands of deliveries daily. The DC Supervisor leads a team providing distribution and light assembly to customers and consumers, with a focus on speed to shelf and quality.

You will coach, mentor and develop coworkers, ensure safety, and collaborate with leaders to drive efficient warehouse operations and on-time shipping targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in logistics or distribution.
• 3+ years’ supervisory experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Ability to walk and stand for up to ten hours a day.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively within the team and with other staff.
• Experience interfacing handheld scanning devices.

Responsibilities

• Engage with employees on all levels to drive company culture.
• Monitor hourly associates and direct staff according to production needs.
• Respond to internal and external communications promptly and professionally.
• Meet daily shipping productivity targets.
• Oversee the picking and packing of customer orders and resolve issues.
• Coordinate inventory movements across receiving, putaway, and replenishment.
• Train new hires and set up their first day for success.
