Job summary

PRADCO Outdoor Brands Distribution Center in Calera, AL, seeks a DC Supervisor to lead a team delivering distribution and light assembly to customers and consumers. You will focus on speed to shelf and quality while coaching team members in safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities include managing hourly associates, coordinating shipping goals, overseeing inventory movements, and training new hires to ensure a positive first day experience and ongoing success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in logistics or distribution.
• Minimum 3+ years’ supervisory experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Engage with employees on all levels to drive company culture.
• Monitor hourly associates, direct staff according to production needs.
• Respond to internal and external communications in a timely and professional manner.
• Utilize tools within Microsoft 365 to relay information correctly.
• Meet daily shipping productivity targets.
• Oversee the picking and packing of customer orders and resolving any orders that require further assistance.
• Coordinate and oversee inventory movements across receiving, putaway, and replenishment functions to support efficient warehouse operations.
• Daily training of new hires, ensuring a positive first day experience and setting up new hires for success.
