Job summary

Johnstone Supply, a leading HVACR distributor, is hiring a DC Material Handler I to receive, fill, and ship products with care and accuracy. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, loading/unloading, picking, packing, and maintaining stock integrity to support our distribution network.

Strong organizational skills, safety awareness, and ability to operate RF scanners and ERP systems are essential. This is a full-time on-site role in Joliet, IL with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; 0–1 year of related experience or training.
• Experience with picker, forklift, RF scanner, and inventory management systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receive products by unloading trucks by hand and verify condition.
• Fill and pack orders, ensuring accurate quantities and proper labeling.
• Maintain stock accuracy, replenish shelves, and manage reserved stock areas.
• Prepare shipments, palletize and wrap orders, and complete paperwork.
• Use RF equipment and ERP software to document movements and shipments.
