Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to lead an hourly team and drive efficient, safe operations in the distribution center. You will oversee hiring, development, and performance of 20–30 associates while coordinating fleet and carrier execution to meet service goals.

You will analyze metrics, implement improvement plans, and partner with operations leadership to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to budgets. Strong leadership and process optimization skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related field
Supply Chain Experience
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, Transportation Management Systems
3+ years supervisory experience in a related field
Experience with managing a dedicated fleet
Flexibility to work various shifts
Ability to relocate

Responsibilities

Lead an hourly team to run the distribution center efficiently and safely.
Oversee hiring, evaluation, development, discipline and termination of hourly associates.
Manage transportation functions including fleet and carrier execution, route planning and yard management.
Monitor metrics and drive improvement plans aligned to budget and goals.
