Job summary

Accenture in Chicago seeks a seasoned program leader to drive end-to-end DC transformations, WMS implementations, and warehouse automation deployments. You will own multi-workstream programs across vendors and client teams, ensuring budgets, schedules, and quality while expanding WMS/automation delivery across the practice.

The role requires deep WMS and automation experience, executive-level communication, and the ability to travel 60-80% to client sites across the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in supply chain, distribution center operations, or technology delivery.
• Minimum 8 years' experience hands-on WMS solution expertise—Manhattan Active WM strongly preferred.
• Experience leading large-scale DC transformations with multiple vendors and client stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end distribution center transformation programs—from strategy through go-live and stabilization.
• Serve as delivery executive across one or more engagements and multiple workstreams (WMS, automation/MHE, IT integration).
• Own client satisfaction, delivery quality, and program financial performance; coordinate SI, OEMs, contractors, IT vendors, and client teams.
• Own WMS lifecycle for Manhattan Active WM engagements and other platforms like Blue Yonder Luminate, SAP EWM.
• Direct integration of automation solutions with WMS/WES/WCS systems; ensure throughput targets and labor models are realistic.
• Build and govern integrated program plans, budgets, RAID logs, and risk registers; lead issue resolution and escalation.
