Job summary

Accenture’s Supply Chain & Operations practice seeks a hands-on WMS functional expert to join our DC-focused team. You will design, configure, test, and implement Manhattan Active WM and related platforms, guiding go-lives and post‑live stabilization across distribution centers.

You will own requirements, lead workshops, and translate operational needs into detailed specs, training materials, and process improvements. Travel to client sites will be extensive, up to 60–80%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DC operations, WMS implementation, or delivery of supply chain technology projects.
• 4+ years in hands-on WMS functional lead or configuration role on enterprise platforms.
• Experience configuring and validating inbound, outbound, inventory, and labor modules on WMS.
• Strong facilitation and requirements documentation capabilities.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead WMS functional workstream in large DC implementations, owning requirements, design, configuration, testing, and go-live for Manhattan Active WM or similar platforms.
• Conduct current-state assessments of DC operations across inbound, outbound, inventory, labor, and Returns; identify gaps and configuration opportunities.
• Facilitate design workshops with operations, IE, and IT stakeholders; translate requirements into functional specs and design docs.
• Maintain configuration workbooks, specs, fit-gap analyses, and traceability matrices across the lifecycle.
• Design and execute end-to-end testing strategies (unit, SIT, UAT) and manage cutover and hyper-care.
• Lead go-live planning and post-launch stabilization in live DC environments.
• Develop end-user training materials and job aids for warehouse staff and admins.
• Support LMS, labor standards, slotting programs, and dashboards integration with WMS.
