Job summary

Accenture is seeking a hands-on WMS functional expert to lead distribution center operations and WMS implementations for retailers, grocers, 3PLs, and consumer goods manufacturers across the United States. You will design, configure, and validate Manhattan Active WM modules, supervise go-live activities, and collaborate with IT and operations teams.

Travel 60–80% is expected, and you will guide client stakeholders through design decisions shaping daily warehouse workflows and automation

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of distribution center operations experience.
At least 4 years in a hands‑on WMS functional lead or configuration role on enterprise WMS platforms.
3+ years hands‑on WMS expertise—Manhattan Active WM strongly preferred.
Experience leading fit‑gap analysis, solution design sessions, requirements documentation, and go‑live readiness.
Proven ability to translate operations observations into WMS configurations.

Responsibilities

Lead design workshops with operations, IT, and finance stakeholders.
Configure and validate WMS modules across inbound, outbound, inventory, and labor management.
Manage integration with ERP/WCS/WES and warehouse automation systems.
Lead go‑live activities and post‑go‑live stabilization.
