Job summary

Accenture seeks a Senior Solution Architect for WMS to lead end-to-end architecture for large DC transformation programs. You will own platform design for Manhattan Active WM, integration with ERP, TMS, OMS, and warehouse automation, and governance across multi-vendor programs.

You will travel 60–80% to client sites in the US. Minimum 8 years in supply chain tech and 5+ years in WMS architecture are expected; MBA or advanced degree preferred for senior leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain technology, WMS implementation, or distribution center systems delivery.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience architecting Manhattan Active WM solutions, including platform design, configuration strategy, extensibility framework, cloud/SaaS deployment, and enterprise integrations.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and implementing WMS integration architectures with API, event-driven, and batch patterns.
• Excellent communication to explain architecture trade-offs to executives and guide multi-vendor programs.
• MBA or advanced technical degree preferred for strategic leadership and delivery excellence.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end WMS solution architecture for large DC transformation programs, establishing landscape, design, integration, and governance.
• Lead design for Manhattan Active WM implementations and equivalent platforms, including deployment architecture and data model design.
• Architect and govern the integration layer between WMS and ERP/TMS/OMS/labor management and automation systems.
• Lead WMS technology selection engagements, define requirements, draft RFP/RFI materials, and develop platform recommendations for clients.
• Design integration architecture for warehouse automation (AS/RS, AMRs, conveyors) ensuring throughput and resilience.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable WMS designs maximizing native capabilities and minimizing customization.
• Provide architectural leadership to configuration teams, track decisions, and maintain ADRs and documentation.
• Develop client-facing architecture artifacts and communicate with CIOs/CTOs and IT leadership.
