O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a supervisor to assist with daily distribution center operations, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient movement of merchandise. You’ll lead, train, schedule, and develop team members while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating workflow, monitoring productivity, and supporting budgeting and reporting. This role emphasizes continuous improvement and teamwork in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and workflow to meet operational deadlines.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and general materials handling processes.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory systems, routing systems, or AS400 platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervising and coordinating daily distribution center operations for supervised area to ensure operational efficiency.
• Help lead, train, schedule, evaluate, and coach distribution center team members while promoting accountability and teamwork.
• Monitor departmental workflow and staffing levels to ensure daily operational goals and productivity targets are achieved.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable regulations.
• Support inbound and outbound merchandise processes to ensure items are received, stocked, processed, loaded, and delivered per standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and managers to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
• Provide leadership by communicating expectations and addressing opportunities for growth with team members.
• Conduct team meetings and on-the-job training to reinforce procedures and safety expectations.
• Ensure powered equipment operators are trained, certified, and safe.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members.
• Support budgeting, payroll, and reporting activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and identify unsafe practices.
• Monitor operational metrics and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and service levels.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
