Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead a team of 20–30 hourly associates in a fast-paced distribution center environment. The role focuses on safe, efficient, and accurate handling of merchandise while executing team goals.

You will hire, evaluate, and develop associates, monitor key metrics, and coordinate with the Operations Manager to align staffing with business needs. Some relocation/travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• 45% Managing Process: ensure operations procedures are followed and optimize methods for the area.
• 25% Coaching and Developing Associates: train, coach, and evaluate hourly staff.
• 15% Drives Results: monitor inventory accuracy and performance metrics.
• 15% Business Planning: plan staffing and production rates to meet business needs.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
