Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead a team of 20 to 30 hourly associates in a fast-paced distribution center. You will manage processes, coach staff, ensure inventory accuracy, and align staffing with the business plan to drive productivity and safety.

Responsibilities include hiring, evaluating, disciplining, and developing employees, with a focus on meeting performance metrics and operational excellence in a large warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Ability to relocate.
• 2+ years of work experience; 3+ years supervisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing process: Ensures operations procedures are followed and recommends changes to the Operations Manager/AGM.
• Coaching and developing associates: Training, evaluation, and disciplinary actions; performance feedback.
• Drives results: Maintains inventory accuracy and monitors key metrics (productivity, accuracy, quality, expenses).
• Business planning: Coordinates operations and staffing to meet business plans and reduce irregularities.
