Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking an Operations Supervisor to coordinate daily operations across multiple departments in the distribution center. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused execution, and drive continuous improvement through KPI tracking and root-cause analysis.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to manage changing workloads, and experience with warehouse systems and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing a multifaceted warehouse or distribution operation.
• Minimum 5 years in a warehouse or production environment.
• Experience leading cross functional teams and coaching teammates.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operational activities across inbound/outbound functions and customer service.
• Assign teammates and Team Leaders to specific operational functions based on business needs.
• Establish work schedules and ensure staffing adequacy.
• Monitor workflow and maximize efficiency through planning, allocation, and dispatching.
• Develop teammates and Team Leaders through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Promote accountability and a safety-focused work environment.
