Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a warehouse supervisor to coordinate and manage multiple warehouse functions, including receiving, warehousing, and shipping, especially in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.

You will develop and coach direct reports, establish work schedules, supervise leads and teammates, hire and train staff, enforce safety regulations, and coordinate with accounts receivable, purchasing, sales, and customer service to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• College degree strongly preferred.
• Three years leadership experience in a warehouse setting.
• Experience with material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack).

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and resolves work problems and assists teammates in solving issues.
• Supervises leads, warehouse teammates and other supervisors to ensure timely, accurate completion of warehouse tasks.
• Develops and coaches direct reports and establishes work schedules.
• Hires, trains and evaluates staff, enforcing safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinates with Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Service to align warehouse activities.
• Uses Windows-based programs and retrieves reports for essential job activities.
