Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The role emphasizes leading a team, coaching staff, and implementing Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to boost efficiency and quality.

The ideal candidate will analyze performance metrics, develop training plans, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety and policy compliance across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3+ years in supply chain or warehouse operations leadership.
• Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, distribution, and warehouse management best practices.
• Ability to work fast and effectively in a matrix environment.
• Demonstrated leadership potential with coaching and mentoring across levels.
• Proven ability to analyze, apply CI methodologies, and standardize processes across sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the operations team to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI strategies.
• Track KPIs and analyze data to recommend process changes.
• Provide training and mentorship on continuous improvement tools and techniques.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
