Job summary

Owens & Minor, a global healthcare solutions company, seeks an experienced DC Operations Lead to direct distribution center activities, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and coach teams across shifts.

You will partner with local Account Management, Transportation, and CEC to implement improvements, manage schedules, and ensure regulatory compliance; a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in supply chain or warehouse ops are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in supply chain or warehouse operations with leadership.
• Healthcare/medical device industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs operations activities and teammates in a distribution center (DC).
• Manages teammate time, attendance, and schedules.
• Oversees training and staff development.
• Implements initiatives to improve DC metrics and financial performance.
• Ensures safety, quality, productivity, and turnover targets.
• Collaborates with Account Management, Transportation, and Client Engagement Center (CEC).
• Supports onboarding of new customers at the DC.
• Ensures adherence to SOPs/WIs for warehouse and transportation.
• Monitors performance and conducts root-cause analysis to improve operations.
