Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking an Operations Manager to coordinate and lead distribution center activities, ensuring efficient outbound, warehousing, shipping, delivery and inventory accuracy. You will partner with leadership to improve metrics, coach staff, and manage expenses and capital needs.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, SOP adherence, and strong customer service across DC functions in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 9+ years in supply chain or warehouse operations, healthcare/medical device experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, planning, communication and people motivation skills.
• Familiarity with SOPs/WI and regulatory compliance (DOL/DEA/FDA/OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Directs distribution center operations, including outbound, warehousing, shipping and inventory accuracy.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to supervisors and teammates.
• Lead initiatives to improve DC metrics and financial performance.
• Approve DC expenses and suggest capital investments as needed.
• Ensure safety, quality, productivity and turnover goals are met.
