Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a warehouse supervisor to coordinate and manage receiving, warehousing, and shipping activities. This role will oversee distribution operations during the absence of the Warehouse Manager and lead a team of supervisors and teammates.

The position requires a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), certification on warehouse machinery, and several years of warehouse experience, including some supervisory exposure, with strong attention to safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; four-year college degree preferred.
• Certification in warehouse machinery operations is required.
• Three years of O&M experience; external hires need at least one year supervisory and two years warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve work problems and assist teammates.
• Review bills of lading and customer orders to plan activities.
• Prepare truck delivery schedule with Warehouse Manager and Lead Driver.
• Assign duties and ensure proper storage and packing of orders.
• Supervise leads and warehouse staff to ensure timely, accurate operations.
• Hire, train and evaluate warehouse staff; enforce safety rules.
