Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Area Manager in Georgia to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team of DC Associates in shipping/receiving activities, ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role focuses on policy compliance, data-driven performance improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. The position requires 3+ years of leadership in high-volume distribution, a Bachelor's degree, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; WMS experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience leading in a high-volume distribution environment.
• Management/leadership experience in a distribution center.
• Experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring/coaching and development initiatives.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Warehouse Management Systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret policies to operate systems and programs in the DC.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to access all DC areas, including mezzanine platforms.
• Able to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs or more and stand for extended periods.
• Bi-lingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and lead a team of Distribution Center Associates in shipping/receiving to company standards.
• Drive performance by analyzing productivity, efficiency, and accuracy data.
• Promote Burlington’s Core Values and foster an engaging, inclusive team environment.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and special projects within the DC.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and development to team members; receive likewise.
