Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team in our distribution center, driving safe, efficient and accurate merchandise handling while achieving productivity goals.

You will hire, evaluate, develop, coach and discipline hourly associates, supervise 20–30 staff, and coordinate with Operations leadership to optimize processes, staffing, and performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and relocate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 20–30 hourly associates, ensuring safety, productivity and quality.
• Ensure adherence to operations procedures and implement process improvements.
• Hire, evaluate, develop, discipline and terminate hourly staff as needed.
• Coach, train, and provide feedback; resolve associate relations issues.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and drive key performance metrics.
