Job summary

Global Furniture Group, a leading North American furniture manufacturer, seeks a Distribution Center Manager for its Fairfield OH facility. You will oversee daily DC operations, supervise a diverse staff, manage inventories, and coordinate customer care and vendor relations to ensure optimal service levels.

The role encompasses financial oversight, HR-related duties, and collaboration with sales teams to drive exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Sales oriented, with a customer-driven mindset
• Self-motivated, goal oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage all financial and operational management aspects of a multimillion-dollar business
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum of 6-10 years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or military experience.

Responsibilities

• Overall client service, financial and operational responsibility
• Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Manage inventory levels in accordance with sales demand
• Monitor warehouse team to include all inventory movement in and out of facility
• Responsible for accuracy of weekly product cycle counts
• Train, coach, develop, and encourage local customer care team
• Evaluate/oversee all local vendor relationships for overall best value
• Work with local sales team to create best possible customer experience
