Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and influence the distribution center’s overall efficiency, safety, and productivity. You will supervise 20–30 hourly associates, handle hiring, evaluation, and development, and ensure accurate merchandise handling.

Responsibilities include coaching, process optimization, and driving key metrics while aligning with the operations manager. Occasional overnight travel may be required and relocation flexibility is expected.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
2+ years supervisory experience in a related field.
Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma acceptable.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems preferred.
Computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage 20–30 hourly associates in a distribution center.
Hire, evaluate, develop, discipline and terminate associates as needed.
Ensure compliance with operations procedures and safety standards.
Drive inventory accuracy and key performance metrics (productivity, quality, cost).
Coordinate staffing and plan business operations to meet production goals.
