Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, a 100% employee‑owned engineering and design firm, seeks an experienced Office Leader to drive the Washington, DC operations. You will set a strategic direction, foster collaboration across disciplines, and strengthen client relationships while guiding a high‑performing team.

The ideal candidate will have deep DC‑area market knowledge in transportation or water‑energy‑environment, outstanding communication, and a proven record of developing leaders and winning work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related AEC field.
• 15+ years of industry experience including supervisory, project management, and business development.
• Registered engineer or discipline-specific licensure preferred in DC.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide overall leadership for the DC office with a clear vision and inclusive culture.
• Coach and mentor multidisciplinary professionals and develop emerging leaders.
• Manage contracts and provide oversight of Project Managers.
• Build relationships with key clients and partners in the DC market.
• Support growth across transportation, water-energy-environment, and infrastructure services.
