Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Distribution Center Manager to drive operational excellence across warehouse areas, manage facility maintenance, and promote a safety-first culture. You will coach Associates, oversee equipment and contractor performance, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while coordinating with leadership to meet strategic objectives in a fast-paced DC environment.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree concentrating in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel software applications.
• 5 years in distribution environment.
• Experience managing conveyor system, Material Handling Equipment and electrical PLC controls.
• Ability to work flexible schedule; on call at various times; weekends and holidays; relocation may be required.
• Flexibility to relocate translates into increased opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Ensures operational excellence in warehouse areas, including warehouse management systems and equipment.
• Manages and oversees facility maintenance; reviews contractor bids and ensures safety, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Reviews maintenance, production and quality reports to plan and modify activities cost-effectively.
• Promotes safety culture; monitors safety, security, and compliance with standards.
• Coaches, trains, and develops Associates; provides feedback and ensures certifications are maintained.
