Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Human Resources Manager at one of its Distribution Centers to support the HR Manager in leading the DC HR function, driving growth, development, and change while upholding a culture of teamwork and compliance with HR policies. You will assist in HR operations, recruitment, onboarding, onboarding program delivery, and the preparation of weekly HR statistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
• PHR certification a plus.
• Experience in a distribution center environment preferred.
• Knowledge of employee relations, workers’ comp, and recruitment.
• Strong knowledge of HR laws and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Multi-tasking under pressure; proficient with Office and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the HR Manager in leading HR functions in the DC.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard associates.
• Present new associate orientation and onboarding activities.
• Prepare and analyze weekly HR statistics (turnover, actions, hiring metrics).
• Maintain associate files to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate employee engagement with HR admin team.
• Conduct exit interviews to identify retention improvements.
• Oversee payroll administration and attendance tracking.
