Job summary

The Home Depot in the United States seeks an experienced HR leader for the Distribution Center to guide talent acquisition, development, associate relations, and engagement in support of company values and objectives.

You will partner with DC leadership, manage staffing for a government contractor environment, deliver HR programs, ensure legal compliance, and drive employee relations initiatives across the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of HR Generalist experience
• Knowledge of employment laws (EEO, Wage & Hour, ADA, FMLA)
• Experience with HR policies, SOPs, and benefit programs

Responsibilities

• Lead HR initiatives in DC including staffing, compliance, and reporting.
• Partner with DC Management for staffing and system requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of Home Depot's direct employer/associate relationship and educate stakeholders.
• Ensure effective associate relations practices and timely resolution of issues.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and manage investigations to completion.
• Develop and deliver knowledge management and learning programs for hourly associates.
• Collaborate with RHRM on leadership development, succession planning, and HR reviews.
• Support Supply Chain projects with HR resources.
