Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is hiring for its 2027 Distribution Center (DC) Human Resources Summer Internship Program in Casa Grande, AZ. This onsite, 11-week program begins in May 2027 and offers hands-on HR exposure within a fast-paced distribution environment.

Interns will work with HR and Operations leaders on policies, recruiting, onboarding, training, data insights, and employee lifecycle initiatives, with mentorship and professional development throughout the summer.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field; rising seniors preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Ability to organize information, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced DC environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Relocation to Casa Grande, AZ area for the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

• HR Policies & Compliance – support policy communication and application.
• Team Member Relations – assist HR leaders with inquiries and workplace matters.
• HR Data & Insights – help analyze workforce data and trends.
• Recruiting & Talent Acquisition – support hourly and technical recruiting activities.
• Training & Development – assist with coordinating training activities.
• Onboarding & Orientation – support new hire onboarding.
• Safety Support – assist with safety initiatives and investigations.
• HR Projects & Process Improvement – contribute to HR projects and process improvements.
