Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Distribution Center General Manager in Indiana to plan, direct, and optimize warehouse operations using the Kenco Operating System. You will lead site leadership, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement to maximize profits and customer satisfaction.

You will coach management and hourly staff, manage KPIs and budgets, and partner with the customer to align site goals with strategic objectives in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• . Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business field is required.
• . Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience within a distribution center and/or warehouse.
• . Proven ability to lead salary and hourly associates and drive performance goals.
• . Experience with labor/workforce management systems (e.g. SAP, Red Prairie, High Jump) is highly desired.
• . Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt preferred but not required.
• . Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• . Proficiency in common computer applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead site management and personnel to ensure compliance with operating system, policy, and SOPs.
• Maintain safety, operations, quality, financial, legal, and regulatory functions on site.
• Develop long-term planning and strategic initiatives for site success and customer relations.
• Manage KPIs, BI/IM, Efficiency Programs, and P&L data analysis and reporting.
• Communicate with customer and site personnel; provide coaching and mentorship.
• Promote Lean Culture through 5S, Gemba walks, Kaizen, and continuous improvement.
• Analyze operations to improve cross-functional efficiencies and throughput.
• Build strong relationships with the customer and translate strategic goals to site goals.
