Job summary

SanMar Corp. is seeking a Manager, DC Facilities to lead the facilities team at a distribution center. You will oversee maintenance, preventive programs, and the reliability of automated systems, MHE, and building infrastructure. Travel to support multiple sites may be required.

You will work with Distribution Systems Technology and Solutions teams, DC leadership, and vendors to maximize system stability, scale, and performance while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 4–6 years of progressive experience in maintenance engineering and system repair.
• 1–3 years of supervisory/lead experience.
• In depth knowledge of preventive maintenance program development and implementation, maintenance work prioritization and scheduling.
• Working knowledge of operating budgets and ability to analyze variances; proficient with spreadsheets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong project management skills.
• Flexible with schedule; able to provide off-hours support onsite or remotely as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all work and responsibilities of the Facilities team, ensuring resources and safety procedures are followed.
• Identify opportunities to reduce downtime, improve reliability, and ensure timely preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Set priorities for production operations, maintenance schedules, and installation of equipment.
• Support Safety program; review accident reports and ensure corrective actions.
• Review mechanic utilization and equipment downtime reports to improve performance.
• Establish clear priorities and urgency in maintenance activities to minimize disruptions.
• Audit Preventive Maintenance programs and drive reliability improvements and cost reductions.
• Coordinate with DC leadership and vendors to optimize system operations and standardize procedures.
