Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager to drive high performance of the supply chain facility by fostering a reliability-centered maintenance culture. You will lead Maintenance Technicians, Utility Attendants and EAM staff to ensure equipment availability and safe operations.

You will coordinate external contractors, manage on-call emergencies, and deliver data-driven, continuous improvements to reduce downtime and enhance asset life across the site.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Previous supervisory experience in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and communicate necessary policies and procedures.
• Ability to manage, lead, and influence others on a team while prioritizing multiple projects.
• Experience with multi-contractor management.
• Self-motivated and customer-centric.
• Excellent PC competency.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Technicians, Utility Attendants, and EAM staff to ensure high equipment availability.
• Manage external contractors and on-call emergencies; handle multiple projects and timelines.
• Develop continuous improvement with data-driven root-cause analysis.
• Oversee safety programs: LOTO, Arc Flash, PPE compliance.
• Own performance metrics and shift handoffs; manage training for new hires.
• Approve expenditures within corporate guidelines and ensure data integrity.
