Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking a Manager of Maintenance and Automation Solutions to lead maintenance and automation across two large-scale distribution centers. You will own strategy, rollout, and reliability of automated equipment and IoT systems, guiding a diverse engineering and facilities team.

The role emphasizes safety, cost-control, and collaboration with DC Operations and IT to achieve continuous improvement and high productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics or related field.
• 10+ years in maintenance, automation, or engineering roles in distribution or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with distributed controls architectures and PLCs.
• Knowledge of SCADA, CAD and simulation tools.
• Strong leadership and budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance programs to maximize uptime and reliability across two DCs.
• Develop a roadmap for maintenance and automation systems supporting current and future needs.
• Lead teams of supervisors and technicians; mentor staff.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering to integrate data systems and monitoring tools.
• Drive lean, Six Sigma initiatives and cost-effective automation upgrades.
• Manage vendor contracts and cross-functional project delivery.
