Job summary

SanMar in the United States is seeking a Manager, DC Facilities to lead the maintenance team, oversee Autostore and other DC systems, and ensure safe, reliable operation of distribution center equipment and facilities.

You will prioritize maintenance activities, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, manage preventive maintenance, and drive system uptime. Role is local to a distribution center with possible travel to support other sites and roll out MHE automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 4-6 years in maintenance engineering and system repair.
• 1-3 years in supervisory/lead roles.
• Experience in PM program development and scheduling.
• Knowledge of budgets, forecasting, and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Facilities team and enforce safety procedures.
• Reduce downtime, improve reliability, and schedule PMs.
• Set priorities for production operations and equipment maintenance.
• Support Safety program and document investigations.
• Monitor downtime and implement improvements in equipment performance.
• Coordinate material orders and spare parts.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
