Job summary

The Home Depot U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and influence the distribution center toward efficient, safe and productive operation.

You will manage 20 to 30 hourly associates, hire, evaluate, develop, discipline and terminate staff as needed, and ensure prompt, accurate handling of merchandise. You will coach associates, drive results, and monitor inventory accuracy and key metrics while coordinating with the Operations Manager to align with the business

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervisory experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead 20–30 hourly associates and manage daily operations.
• Ensure procedures are followed and identify process improvements.
• Coach and develop associates, including hiring, evaluations and terminations as needed.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and monitor key metrics (productivity, quality, cost).
