Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Distribution Center Area Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team of associates. You will ensure safe, efficient shipping/receiving and alignment with company policies, while driving performance and cross-functional collaboration.

The role emphasizes coaching, training, data-driven improvement, and effective use of warehouse systems to meet demand and maintain service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years’ experience leading in a high-volume distribution environment.
• Management/leadership experience in a supply chain distribution center.
• Experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring/coaching and development initiatives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and lead a team of associates.
• Analyze productivity data to drive performance and improve accuracy.
• Foster Burlington’s core values and an inclusive team environment.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and development to the team.
