Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Distribution Center Area Manager in Florence Township, NJ to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team of DC Associates. You will ensure shipping/receiving are performed safely, accurately, and in line with policies, while driving performance and continuous improvement.

The role requires 3+ years of leadership in a high-volume distribution environment, a preferred Bachelor's degree in a related field, and strong experience with WMS and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or related field) or a combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years’ experience leading in a high-volume distribution environment.
• Experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring/coaching and development initiatives.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Warehouse environment experience and ability to read/update policies and procedures.
