Job summary

Signature Performance seeks a Database Administrator III to support production and non-production databases across the enterprise. The role emphasizes tuning, configuration, monitoring, and security best practices while collaborating with auditors and business teams.

The candidate should manage multiple projects, be highly organized, and possess strong problem-solving skills. Remote/nationwide work is supported, with a focus on maintaining SLAs and supporting SDLC activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree required; five years of database administration preferred.
• If no degree, a minimum of seven years of database administration experience.
• Experience with Cognizant/TriZetto Facets data model is a plus.
• Ability to create T-SQL scripts required.
• Highly organized and able to work independently or in a team.
• Proven problem-solving skills and multi-tasking ability.

Responsibilities

• T-SQL performance tuning to resolve production issues using native SQL Server and third-party tools.
• Configure, script, install, monitor, upgrade, and administer database management systems.
• Ensure SLAs are met for internal and external clients.
• Off-hour production support and 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Enforce and document database policies, procedures, and standards.
• Communicate with technical and business teams as well as auditors.
