Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking a Database Administrator III for a remote/nationwide role. You will support and maintain production and non-production databases with a focus on performance, reliability, and security. The role requires collaboration with auditors and business teams to ensure compliant, efficient data operations.

You will perform backups, restores, maintenance plans, and SDLC support while mentoring junior DBAs and driving best practices across mission-critical applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in a related field.
• Minimum of five years of database administration experience.
• Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, backups, restores, and high-availability architectures.
• Knowledge of PowerShell and SSIS/SSRS/SSAS is a plus.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• T-SQL performance tuning to resolve production issues.
• Configuring, scripting, monitoring, upgrades, and administration for database systems.
• Ensure SLAs are met for internal and external clients.
• Off-hours production support and 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Communicate with technical/business teams and auditors.
