Job summary

Wellhaven Home Care is hiring caregivers in Lexington, SC to support clients with daily living tasks, health monitoring, and companionship. This part-time role offers flexible weekends, a competitive hourly rate, and comprehensive orientation to ensure quality care.

You’ll follow individualized care plans, provide medication reminders, and coordinate with families and healthcare teams to ensure client safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• 2 years prior experience as a caregiver, CNA, or PCA.
• Dementia and long-term care experience.
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Physically able to assist with hands-on care and mobility.
• Reliable, compassionate, and communicative.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living tasks: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Follow individualized care plans and monitor client health.
• Provide medication reminders and support.
• Offer companionship and emotional encouragement.
• Ensure safety through mobility assistance and proper transfers.
• Assist with meal prep and nutritional support.
• Document care accurately and report changes to the office.
• Collaborate with families, healthcare teams, and staff.

Position Details

• Every Saturday & Sunday 7a to 7p
