Job summary

Wellhaven Home Care in Chapin, SC is looking for compassionate caregivers to join our supportive team. We offer flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and paid orientation to help you grow your skills while balancing personal commitments.

You will follow individualized care plans, assist with daily living tasks, provide companionship, monitor client safety, and collaborate with families and healthcare teams. CPR certification is encouraged, and prior caregiving experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 2 years of caregiving experience (caregiver/CNA/PCA)
• Dementia and long‑term care experience a plus
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living tasks: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene
• Follow individualized care plans and monitor client health
• Provide medication reminders and support
• Offer companionship and emotional encouragement
• Ensure safety through mobility assistance and proper transfers
• Assist with meal prep and nutritional support
• Document care accurately and report changes to the office
• Collaborate with families, healthcare teams, and staff

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living tasks: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene

Requirements

• Physically able to assist with hands‑on care and mobility

• Reliable, compassionate, and communicative

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a bonus

Position Details

• Job Type: Part Time

• Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour

• Expected Hours: 15-34 hours per week

• Shift: Mondays 8a to 2p, Wednesdays 8p to 8a, Every Other Saturday & Sunday 8a to 8p, Every Other Saturday & Sunday 3p to 8p
